What to do if money is stuck
What each hold state means, and what happens next.
If something goes wrong
- Sending: your money is on its way. Nothing to do.
- Returned: PayMongo sent it back. We try again automatically.
- Pending at PayMongo: we check again at each payout cycle and email you.
- On hold: a person checks your payout account. Your dashboard says why.
- Not yet checked: the next check runs within 15 minutes.
- Already checked: the result is shown on your dashboard.
- Could not read your balance: nothing was sent. Reload the page. Nothing already earned is lost when a balance cannot be read.
- Account suspended: payouts pause while we review. Nothing already earned is lost. Held for a dispute: set aside until the dispute is resolved.
- A backup payout account shows In use or Not working on your settings page.
- Every account refused: earnings stay safe, add another account.
- Changing a payout account: needs your password and a 24-hour hold.
